「タイ・イノベーションプロジェクト」実施のお知らせ

情報経営イノベーション専門職大学（東京都墨田区、学長 中村伊知哉、http://www.i-u.ac.jp、以下「iU」）は、日本からタイへの和牛卸売、焼肉レストランを手がけるタイのNEXUSタイランド社と連携し、「タイ・イノベーションプロジェクト」を実施、学生グループ「タイ研究会」が、現地事業家、投資家さまを訪問、タイでの新たなビジネスチャンスを発掘、新規投資先を発掘します。
iUは「就職率0％・起業率100％」をテーマに、「学生全員起業」を目標とし、「ビジネス・ICT・グローバルコミュニケーション」の知識・スキルを身につけるカリキュラムを展開しております。なかでも、本学の学びの中核となる必修科目「イノベーションプロジェクト（通称：イノプロ）」は、学生全員が起業プランを企画し、プレゼンを行うアクティブ形式の科目です。「タイ研究会」は、イノプロから生まれた学生グループです。

●タイ研究会

今後発展するタイにおいてビジネス起業の可能性を探る学生グループ。レストランなど飲食ビジネス、アプリ開発、メディア運営など、日本とタイをつなぐビジネスを検討している。

●NEXUSタイランド社

食肉・食肉加工品の製造・販売、海外輸出を行う株式会社ネクサス（本社：岩手県花巻市  https://nexus1129.com/company）のタイ法人NEXUSタイランドCo.,Ltdは、タイ和牛市場の30%以上のシェアを持ち、またタイ国内にて焼肉レストラン「肉匠」を運営しています。今回の「タイ・イノベーションプロジェクト」は、NEXUSタイランドCo.,Ltd代表取締役川端陽介さまと連携し、実施します。

Notification regarding Thai Innovation Project
The Professional University of Information and Management for Innovation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo, President: Ichiya Nakamura; hereinafter “iU”; http://www.i-u.ac.jp) is working with NEXUS Thailand Co., Ltd., a Thai company that works in the wholesale of Wagyu beef from Japan to Thailand and operates yakiniku restaurants, on the Thai Innovation Project, in which the Thai Research Society student group invites local industrialists and investors to discover new business and investment opportunities in Thailand.

Based on the theme of “employment rate 0%, business startup rate 100%,” iU is aiming to help all students start their own businesses with a curriculum that provides knowledge and skills in the areas of business, ICT and global communication. In particular, the compulsory “Innovation Project” (abbreviated as “Innopro”) subject, which is at the center of learning at the iU, is an active course in which all students take part in planning and pitching startup businesses. The Thai Research Society is a student group resulting from Innopro.

• Thai Research Society

A student group exploring the potential for business startups in Thailand, a fertile ground for future growth. The group is researching business to connect Japan and Thailand, such as food and drink business (restaurants, etc.), app development, and media management.

NEXUS Thailand Co., Ltd. is the Thai arm of NEXUS Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture  https://nexus1129.com/company), which manufactures, sells and exports overseas meat and processed meat products. NEXUS Thailand Co., Ltd. has a share of more than 30% of the Wagyu market in Thailand and operates the Niku Sho chain of yakiniku restaurants in Thailand. The Thai Innovation Project is implemented with the cooperation of Yosuke Kawabata, CEO of NEXUS Thailand Co., Ltd.
