iU イノプロ×JLab JAPAN「サタデーハッカソン」売上爆増計画ピッチコンテストの優勝チームを選出

iU（東京都墨田区、学長 中村 伊知哉。以下、iU。https://www.i-u.ac.jp/）では、2023年7月8日（土）に、「JLab JAPAN株式会社（東京都港区 代表取締役 横張 亮輔）」と連携、音響機器を展開する同社の3年後の売上10億円を達成するビジネスプランを企画・提案するハッカソンを開催し、最優秀企画を選出しました。
iUは「就職率0％・起業率100％」をテーマに、「学生全員起業」を目標とし、「ビジネス・ICT・グローバルコミュニケーション」の知識・スキルを身につけるカリキュラムを展開しております。
なかでも、本学の学びの中核となる必修科目「イノベーションプロジェクト（通称：イノプロ）」は、学生全員が起業プランを企画し、プレゼンを行うアクティブ形式の科目です。
今回の「サタデーハッカソン」は、イノプロの一環として、４年生を対象に実施、最優秀企画を選出しました。サタデーハッカソンの概要は、イノプロホームページ（iuinnovation.jp）でもご覧いただけます。

iU Innovation Project & JLab JAPAN Saturday Hackathon Winning team selected for explosive sales growth-plan pitch contest

iU (Sumida Ward, Tokyo; President: Ichiya Nakamura; hereinafter, “iU”; https://www.i-u.ac.jp/), in collaboration with JLab Japan Co., Ltd. (Minato Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Ryosuke Yokobari), held a hackathon on July 8, 2023 (Sat) to formulate and present a three-year business plan to grow the audio equipment maker’s sales to one billion JPY, and selected a winning plan.

iU, which operates under the theme of “0% employment, 100% entrepreneurship” and aims to have all of its students start businesses, has developed a curriculum for knowledge and skills acquisition in the fields of business, ICT, and global communications.

One part of this curriculum which is at the core of the university’s teachings is the compulsory Innovation Project (commonly known as “InnoPro”), an active course in which all students plan and present an entrepreneurial plan.

This Saturday Hackathon, one part of the Innovation Project, involved 4th-year students, and a winning project was selected. A summary of this Saturday Hackathon can also be found on the Innovation Project homepage (iuinnovation.jp).
